June 13, 1937 - September 18, 2015

Albert Eugene Harris, of Rogersville and formerly of Strafford, passed away Friday, Sept. 18, 2015. He was born June 13, 1937 in Indianapolis, IN to Richard and Lula Harris. He was 78 years old.

He is survived by his wife Doris Harris, his children: Buddy, Steve, Shannon, Gina, Richard and Tammy, 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a loving puppy Gracie.

A Memorial Celebration of Life was held Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home East.

Dad always wanted to be cremated and put into TableRock lake by the dam that empties into Taneycomo. So on April 1st, 2016 the family all gathered for a weekend together and to boat out to a spot he would have liked, and put him to rest. The spot is close to one of our favorite camping spots at Old 86 campground. It's the red marker on the map below.
