Passing time

Two years have flown by and not a single day passes I don’t think of you Dad. I miss you and in a weird way I know you miss us too, even though you are in a much nicer place.
The picture here is of some flowers Britty brought to Mom recently, I thought they were worthy of posting. She still misses and loves her papa too.
You loved life, as evident by your passion and willpower to carry on, even in the darkest of days with your health. I’m glad your not suffering any more, and I’m so thankful for the years God gave us with you after your first emergency room visit, some 14 years ago now. It changed you and gave us a chance to listen more carefully to your stories, take the time to spend with you and Mom, and learn a little more about the things you really cared about, (and didn’t care about haha).
I am proud to call you my Dad, proud of the family I was born into, and live through the many lessons you gave me, and some you didn’t know you gave me - but I was watching :)
I heard a quote the other day in a show I was watching and liked it. It goes;
“If you mean something to someone, if you help someone, or love someone. If even a single person remembers you. Then maybe, you never really die at all.”
Love ya Dad.
