Happy 81st birthday Dad!

I can't believe it's been almost 3 years since you left us for a better place. Today is your 81st birthday and I didn't want the day to go by without you knowing that we all love and miss you!

Mom reminded us just the other day "don't forgot this Wednesday is Dad's birthday", Tammy texted the family group this morning "Today is Dad's Birthday, he would have been 81".

There isn't a day that goes by I don't think of you. Sometimes when I'm driving my truck, or other times when I'm just sitting in the family room watching TV with Christy. Your absence if felt, but the life you lived - although sometimes misunderstood by people, is also felt, even when you are gone.

Christy and the kids have a "Fathers Day Camping Trip" planned for me starting this Sunday at 86 campground, which is just off the waters where you are laid to rest - something you always wanted. I hope to catch that "fish with a beard" one of these days :)

Happy Birthday Dad, rest in peace, and know that we will see you again real soon.
